Based on my research, Bricks and More operated as a Creator subtheme from 2006-2014, making it a foundational building theme that served as the modern predecessor to today's Creative Brick Boxes. This theme filled a crucial gap in LEGO's portfolio by providing open-ended creative building experiences during an era when themed and licensed sets dominated the market. Given LEGO's track record of retired sets achieving annual appreciation rates of 10-11%, the theme's complete discontinuation creates scarcity value, particularly for flagship sets like the Creative Suitcase which capitalized on the portable building trend.
