Alpha Team

Launched in 2001 as an ambitious multimedia project combining traditional LEGO building with interactive storylines and a PC game, Alpha Team introduced the innovative spy-versus-villain conflict between elite agents and the mad scientist Ogel's mind-controlling schemes. The theme remains popular with collectors and nostalgic fans despite its discontinuation in 2005, with its unique characters and multimedia approach earning a special place in LEGO history. Alpha Team's influence extended beyond its own lifespan, directly inspiring the LEGO Agents theme released several years later in 2008.
